What does Cheeko cost?
₹5,999, paid once at checkout. That's the full price, and delivery is free across India. The regular price is ₹8,999; the launch price holds while preorders are open. Nothing is left to pay later. One payment, one box.
Is there a subscription? What's this "optional plan"?
Your cards, stories, rhymes and all 8 built-in games are free forever, no plan needed. Two online features, Talk with live AI answers and Imagine the picture maker, are free for your first 3 months, then part of an optional plan. The price is shown in the parent app first, before you pay anything, and there's no auto-charge. Skip the plan and everything you own keeps working.
How much do new cards cost?
₹199–299 each. You buy only the cards your child will actually love. There's no bundle you're pushed into. 15 new cards drop at launch, and every card you buy is yours forever.
Is delivery really free?
Yes. Free delivery across India, no minimums, no hidden shipping line at checkout. What you see on the button is what you pay.
Does Cheeko need the internet?
Only sometimes. A new card downloads once on Wi-Fi, then plays offline forever: car rides, flights, the village with no signal. The 8 built-in games and Funny Voice work offline too. Talk, Imagine and Radio are the online features: they need Wi-Fi to think.
How long does the battery last?
4–6 hours of continuous play, a full road trip. Charge it at night like a phone and it's full again by morning.
How does it charge? Is there a charger in the box?
Any USB-C cable and charger you already own works: your phone charger, a power bank, the car port. We don't put another charger in the box on purpose: you almost certainly have three at home, and leaving it out keeps the box smaller and the price honest.
What does the screen actually show?
Pictures and simple games, never video. While a story plays, the screen shows one story picture, then stops. There's no feed, no autoplay, no app store, no browser. Cheeko is not screen-free and we won't pretend it is. Its screen knows when to stop.
What games are built in?
8 games come built into the device and work fully offline: matching, counting, tracing, listening and moving games that level up as your child grows from 3 to 10. They're free forever, and game cards like Floor is Lava add more on top.
Which languages does Cheeko speak?
English plus 10 Indian languages: Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam and Odia.
How do languages work on cards?
One card plays in one language. You pick the language when you choose the card. Families mix freely: rhymes in Kannada, stories in English, a folk tale in Hindi. That's how most Indian homes actually sound.
Is the mic always listening?
No. The mic is push-to-talk: it works only while the button is held, like a walkie-talkie. Let go and it's off. There is no camera on the device. Nothing to point, nothing to cover with tape.
How do you keep AI answers safe for a child?
Every answer passes child-safety filters before it's spoken, built for ages 3–10, in every language. And nothing is hidden from you: the parent app shows every question your child asked, word for word.
What does the parent app do, and which phones does it run on?
It runs on iPhone and Android, and it's live today. You see every question your child asked, play counts for every card, and you can set the device volume from your phone.
